What is the most important thing in our life? Whom should we prioritize first and foremost?

Discipline is extremely important in our lives. Whether it is our spiritual journey or our daily lives, both demand discipline. But what exactly is discipline?

Whenever we perform any task—whether in our day-to-day practical lives or our spiritual journey—we constantly strive to bring positive thinking into our lives. We continually attempt to maintain positivity at every moment. The key to being disciplined lies in staying completely focused on whatever task we undertake.

If we lack balance within ourselves and fail to maintain proper discipline, we will never truly connect with our inner selves or achieve self-understanding. To genuinely understand and realize ourselves, it is essential that we focus. Another word for focus is meditation.

The Sanskrit term for meditation is 'Dhyan,' which literally means "to focus." As we start and gradually progress on our meditation journey, we begin to connect with our inner selves. We should not merely strive to connect with an external form of God but rather aim to connect deeply with ourselves.

When we say we want to connect with God, the very intention brings uncertainties. However, it is important to realize that we are already connected with God; in fact, we are already living within God. Like a fish in a pond that yearns to see the ocean without realizing it already lives in one, similarly, we already reside within God. We don’t need to connect with God externally; we need to connect internally, within ourselves.

Once you establish this connection with yourself and realize the divine within, you naturally understand that the same divine presence resides in all humans and all creatures in this world.

Many people visit various Gurus, Ashrams, and spiritual institutions. Despite meeting many Gurus and spending time in their presence, people often remain confused and unsettled. You might have seen many people who do good deeds yet still lack peace, indicating underlying conflicts and politics.

This confusion arises because we tend to focus more on the physical presence of the Guru rather than deeply embracing their teachings. Ultimately, this spiritual journey is your own responsibility, and you alone can correct and guide your path.

Spirituality is indeed an easy path to follow, but guidance from a Guru is essential. Whatever your Guru advises, you must listen attentively. A Guru’s teachings are more significant than their physical presence, as their words possess tremendous power capable of completely transforming your life.

That is why a Guru needs a place called an Ashram. An Ashram is a place designed to experience inner peace. Life in an Ashram differs greatly from normal worldly life. In our regular lives, we continuously pursue desires such as cars, houses, money, and other possessions. Even after obtaining these, true happiness often eludes us. We endlessly seek more, never content with what we have.

However, upon entering Ashram life under a Guru’s guidance, we come to a complete halt. We start experiencing the true meaning of sacrifice—not merely giving up money or possessions but completely letting go of our desires and emotional attachments. True sacrifice involves surrendering our daily routines and inner emotions.

Where does this energy for sacrifice come from? It arises from your faith. As your faith deepens, your Guru gradually starts showering blessings upon you, initiating your true spiritual transformation. First, the Guru helps you dissolve your ego. Then, your Guru helps you eliminate worthless desires. Next, the Guru empowers you to feel contentment, and ultimately, the Guru guides you to experience true love.

When you experience true love, you naturally stop seeking anything further. True love is synonymous with God; there is no distinction between love and God. Therefore, if you wish to accomplish anything meaningful in life, start with discipline and complete focus.

Make a clear choice about your life's direction. If God has guided you toward self-faith, it is vital to fully realize and understand this guidance. To comprehend this realization, you need a master or guide who can direct you on how to channel your confidence and faith appropriately.

When Babaji began his spiritual journey, he meditated deeply for six years. At the culmination of these years, Babaji realized that the wisdom he gained was not solely for himself but intended to benefit others. Initially, Babaji’s goal in meditation was to meet God. However, he soon realized that meeting God was merely a catalyst—the true journey was to meet oneself.

Buddha is Gautam Buddha, Shiva is Shiva, Parvati is Parvati, Swami is Swami—but the fundamental question is, who are you?

You are distinct. Animals, flowers, and trees cannot question their existence; only humans have this capability. Despite abundant knowledge, books, various Gurus, and teachings from countless avatars, the essential question remains—"Who am I?"

This self-inquiry is the most critical journey. Once you truly meet yourself, everything else becomes irrelevant. Questions inherently carry answers. Thus, when you sincerely ask yourself "Who am I?" you will discover that the answer lies within.

Merely having intellectual knowledge, like believing "I am God" or "I am someone special," does not constitute self-realization. True self-realization occurs when you deeply connect with your own being, experiencing genuine love, peace, and bliss in your actions.

Self-realization is not exclusive to spiritual people. Anyone who loves their work and lives harmoniously with others is genuinely self-realized. Do not worry about evaluating whether someone else is self-realized; instead, focus wholeheartedly on your job, derive bliss from it, and that itself is genuine self-realization.

When you approach a Guru, understand clearly that you are there to learn, to do, and to achieve something meaningful—something timeless and memorable. The physical body, along with all plans, desires, and comforts, will inevitably end. Both good and bad people eventually pass away, but your legacy and the impact of your work remain eternally.

Swami’s life ended, but his Ashrams continue to serve millions. Similarly, by uniting our energies collectively, we can achieve welfare for countless people. Family, businesses, and even the world cannot function through a single entity. Cooperation, capability, love, and collective energy are required. Even God doesn’t work alone; he needs devoted followers.

Therefore, aim for clarity and understanding about your life's purpose—why you are born and what lasting impact you can create. Babaji has taken steps to unite people through meditation, sankirtan, and healing. For this purpose, Babaji has opened his Ashram in Dharamshala named "Adi Kailash," dedicated to healing, sankirtan, and meditation, and another Ashram is being established in Kangra called "Mansarovar."

The Mansarovar Ashram in Kangra will focus deeply on meditation, requiring a minimum of ten days' stay for spiritual growth. The meditation hall there is purposefully located underground to symbolize grounding, holding special energy that Babaji received from his Guru. This energy, carefully preserved, will be concentrated in this meditation space designed for spiritual realization.

Lord Shiva resides physically and eternally at Kailash Mansarovar, making this location energetically significant. Similarly, Babaji's Mansarovar Ashram in Kangra will serve as a powerful spiritual center.

Babaji’s teachings in Kangra Ashram will also be available in English, Spanish, and French. In challenging global circumstances, Babaji advises dedicating more time to meditation, chanting, sankirtan, and bhajans, isolating your mind from worldly disturbances. Although times will worsen in the coming years, stay peaceful and assured, knowing Babaji's protection is always with you.

Remember how, during the pandemic, we maintained happiness through devotion and remained safe. Carry this faith forward.

Finally, Babaji welcomes you all to visit and experience these Ashrams designed for your spiritual journey and self-realization.
