### *11. “There is very little wildlife in the Kailash Mountain region”!*
Mount Kailash, surrounded by spiritual mysteries, is believed to possess a deep sacred energy that has a unique influence on animal behavior. This energy, closely connected to the faith of pilgrims and seekers, creates an environment where the usual presence of wildlife is said to be rare.
However, during the pilgrimage to this revered mountain, one still gets the rare opportunity to encounter unique creatures such as wild asses, Tibetan antelopes, yaks, geese, and black-necked cranes—especially around the four holy rivers flowing nearby: the Sutlej, the Brahmaputra, the Indus, and the Karnali.
When you bathe in Lake Manasarovar, you see beautiful birds around you. Their playful movements enchant your heart. It makes you wonder how beautiful heaven must be, what it must look like. You can witness that heavenly scene with your own open eyes here!
This is where spirituality and nature come together in a magnificent union, bringing peace and joy to your mind.

### *12. “Mount Kailash is the source of four great rivers of Asia”!*
Mount Kailash holds a unique distinction as the origin of four major Asian rivers: the Indus, the Sutlej, the Brahmaputra, and the Karnali. These rivers, integral to the life and culture of the region, are believed to emerge from this sacred mountain and from the nearby Manasarovar and Rakshastal lakes.
The Yarlung Tsangpo—known as the Brahmaputra—flows through Tibet, India, and Bangladesh, carving the formidable Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon.
The Sutlej emerges near Mount Kailash and flows across Tibet and India.
The Indus, known in Tibetan as Singe Khabab, begins its journey in Tibet before flowing through Pakistan.
And the Karnali, known in Tibetan as Macha Khabab!
These four sacred rivers and the beautiful lakes—especially the significant ones, Manasarovar and Rakshastal—hold immense spiritual importance.
