When the Lord Himself chooses His place, then what remains for a human being to do?
There was no worry left, no planning, no question of asking anyone for land.
It felt as though all directions were opening on their own, and I was merely a medium, witnessing that unseen divine play unfold before me.
Now the next step was to bring the Lord’s sacred form as soon as possible.
Again and again, only one thought arose in my mind:
“Who will be those blessed hands that will give shape to the Lord’s idol?”
How would this task be completed?
Who would support it?
Who would be chosen for this sacred service?
I had no answers to any of these questions.
Yet deep within, there was an unshakable faith that wherever the work belongs to God, He Himself creates the path.
Then I remembered that temple where the Lord Himself had given me this command.
The search for the sculptor who had made the idol there began.
And what a wondrous coincidence it was that on the sacred day of Hanuman Jayanti, that very artisan arrived in Kangra.
Standing on the very land where the Lord was to be enshrined, all the discussions began.
The experience of that moment is difficult to put into words.
It did not feel like an ordinary conversation, but rather like a divine plan that had already been decided long ago and was now slowly revealing itself.
Within moments, a deep peace descended into my heart.
It was as though God Himself was saying:
“You are merely an instrument; I have already arranged everything.”
After that day, only one longing remained in my heart—
When would that auspicious moment arrive, when the Lord would finally reside in His new abode?
Every day began to pass in the hope of that sacred moment.
Meanwhile, after a few days, one of my children visited the same temple from where this divine command had come.
He went straight into the sanctum and prayed:
“O Lord, may the work that has begun in Kangra be completed through Your grace.”
He also told the temple priest that we were undertaking the work of building a temple and consecrating the Lord’s idol, and requested some prasad.
Then the priest gave him a ring as prasad and said:
“When the work of sculpting the idol begins, place this ring at the Lord’s feet.”
When I came to know about this, I fell silent for a few moments.
Because when I had first visited that temple, I myself had offered a ring to the Lord there.
And now, that very ring had returned as prasad.
At that moment, it felt as though the Lord Himself was giving a sign:
“I am still waiting.
This is not merely the work of carving a stone idol, but the sacred resolve of My arrival.”
The return of that ring was no ordinary incident.
It was a blessing, a sign, a silent dialogue—
A reassurance that the Lord’s divine gaze remained upon this sacred work.
But the divine play did not end there.
We also came to know from the temple that the sculptor I had chosen did not have special experience in making such a massive idol.
They advised me to speak with some other sculptors as well.
Hearing this made my heart heavy for a few moments.
It felt as though the path that had seemed so clear had suddenly become covered in mist.
Once again, the mind filled with questions:
“Whom should I search for now?
Who will be the one chosen by the Lord for this task?”
Yet every time the mind began to wander, one feeling would arise from within:
“This too is His divine play.”
Because until now, nothing had happened through my own ability alone.
At every step, some unseen force had been creating the way.
When He chose the place, sent the people, and gave the signs—
Then surely, He Himself would choose the sculptor too.
Slowly, the mind would become peaceful again.
And from within, a voice would whisper:
“Where human faith ends, the Lord’s divine play begins.”
