As soon as my dream broke, I suddenly sat up. There was a strange stir within my heart—wonder, peace, and an unspoken joy all at once. What I had just experienced did not feel like an ordinary dream. It felt as if I had truly had a vision of God, as if I had actually felt His presence. That divine experience had touched something deep within me.
I immediately shared the dream with my family. There was curiosity in everyone’s eyes and faith in their words—everyone said the same thing, “This is God’s blessing.” Hearing this made me happy, but to be honest, at that time I could not understand the true meaning of the dream. I only felt that something special had happened—something beyond the ordinary.
Time slowly moved forward. Years passed, and life continued at its own pace. At that time, there was no thought in my mind of building an ashram. I simply kept doing whatever I felt inspired to do from within, in the name of God, considering it to be His will. Everything seemed to happen on its own—without any planning, without any insistence.
Then came the year 2015—a turning point. On the sacred land of Kangra, the “Shri Sai Mangalam Central Trust” was established. Even this felt as though it was happening under the guidance of some unseen power. Devotees began to express their desire for an ashram—a place where people could find peace and connect with God.
Respecting their feelings, I began searching for land for the ashram. For nearly two years, I traveled from place to place. Wherever someone suggested, I went and looked at land. Each time I went with hope, but every time something or the other prevented things from working out. Gradually, I began to understand that land is not just a piece of earth—it has its own energy, its own will. When it accepts you, the paths open on their own. And when it does not, no matter how much you try, your heart never feels ready.
After a long time, when every effort had failed, one day I grew tired and said to God, “Now I will not go to see land anymore. Whatever happens will happen by Your will. I will not make any effort from my side.”
In that moment, there was a deep sense of peace—as if everything had been surrendered to Him. Perhaps that was the moment when true surrender happened within. And perhaps that was the turning point from where the meaning of that old dream would slowly begin to reveal itself…
