Having learnt the history of Joshimath, we shall now have Darshan of Narsimh temple situated here. This village settlement in the Himalayas is so very beautiful, and deeply intertwined with spirituality. Every grain & particle over here wears the fragrance of our rich culture and heritage. We shall now have Darshan of the Narsimh temple in this very sacred place.

Narsimh Mandir

The Lord Narsimh temple is situated in the Jyotirmath (Joshimath) region. It is one of the most popular temples in Joshimath dedicated to Lord Narsimh, the 4th Avatar of Lord Vishnu. As it is also one of the Sapta Badris, it is called Naarsingh Badri or Narasimh Badri too. Narsimh Badri was once the home of Saint Badri. It is said of this over 1200 years old temple, that Adi Guru Shankaracharya had himself installed the idol of Lord Narsimh here. The 10 inch tall idol of the Lord installed here, is carved out of black Saligram stone, showing Lord Narsimh seated on a Lotus. There are idols of Badrinarayan, Kuber and Uddhav too installed alingside the idol of Lord Narsimh.

To the right of Narsimh Swami, within the temple premises, are idols of Lord Rama, Mata Sita, Hanuman ji and Garud. To the left is an idol of Maa Chandika (Kali Mata). Lord Narsimh is known to have incarnated to protect and save His devotee Prahlada and to slay his father Hiranyakashipu, the demon king. The revered idol of Narsimh Swami installed in this temple is shrinking in size day by day. The left hand in the idol is quite thin and, it is becoming thinner by the day. The day the left hand of Lord Narsimh breaks and falls is the day that the Nar and Narayan (Jaya and Vijaya) mountains will disintegrate & collapse to become one. The route to Badrinath shall be blocked forever thence. It is only after this that the new Badrinath will be installed at a distance of approximately 23 km from Joshimath, in Bhavishya Badri. Lord Narsimh protects his devotees from every single calamity. Hail Lord Narsimh!

छपनवाँ दिन—बद्रीनाथ की ओर

जोशीमठ के बारे मे जानने के बाद अब हम वहाँ स्थित नरसिह मंदिर का दर्शन करेंगे।हिमालय मे बसा ये गांव बहुत ही सुंदर है।और आध्यात्म से जुड़ा है।यहाँ के कण कण में हमारी संस्कृति की खुशबू महकती रहती है। अति पावन इस स्थान मे अब हम नरसिंह मदिर का दर्शन पोएंगे।

नरसिंह मंदिर

ज्योतिर्मठ (जोशीमठ) क्षेत्र में स्थित ‘नृसिंह मंदिर’ भगवान विष्णु के 108 दिव्य देशमों में से एक है। नरसिंह मंदिर जोशीमठ का सबसे लोकप्रिय मंदिर है , यह मंदिर भगवान नरसिंह को समर्पित है जो कि भगवान विष्णु के चौथे अवतार थे।सप्त बद्री में से एक होने के कारण इस मंदिर को नारसिंघ बद्री या नरसिम्हा बद्री भी कहा जाता है। नरसिंह मंदिर, संत बद्री नाथ का घर हुआ करता था । 1200वर्षों से भी पुराने इस मंदिर के विषय में यह कहा जाता है कि आदिगुरु शंकराचार्य ने स्वयं इस स्थान पर भगवान नरसिंह की शालिग्राम की स्थापना की थी । मंदिर में स्थापित भगवान नरसिंह की मूर्ति शालिग्राम पत्थर से बनी है, मूर्ति 10 इंच की है एवम् भगवान नृसिंह एक कमल पर विराजमान हैं।भगवान नरसिंह के साथ इस मंदिर में बद्रीनारायण , उद्धव और कुबेर के विग्रह भी स्थापित है।

मंदिर प्रागण में नरसिंह स्वामी की दायीं ओर भगवान राम , माता सीता , हनुमान जी और गरुड़ की मूर्तियाँ स्थापित हैं तथा बायीं ओर माँ चंडिका (काली माता) की प्रतिमा विराजमान हैं । भगवान नरसिंह को अपने भक्त प्रह्लाद की रक्षा करने के लिए एवं राक्षस हिरण्यकशिपु का वध करने के लिए जाना जाता है ।

इस मंदिर में स्‍थापित भगवान नरसिंह की प्रसिद्ध मूर्ति दिन प्रति दिन सिकुडती जा रही है । मूर्ति की बायीं कलाई पतली है और हर दिन पतली ही होती जा रही है । जिस दिन नृसिंह स्वामी जी की यह कलाई टूट कर गिर जाएगी, उस दिन नर और नारायण (जय और विजय) पर्वत ढह कर एक हो जायेंगे और बद्रीनाथ धाम का मार्ग सदा के लिए अवरुद्ध हो जायेगा । तब जोशीमठ से तक़रीबन 23 किमी की दूरी पर, ‘भविष्य बद्री’ में नए बद्रीनाथ की स्थापना होगी नृसिंह स्वामी अपने भक्तों की हर विपत्ति से रक्षा करते हैं।जय नृसिंह भगवान की जय।।।

Habiendo aprendido la historia de Yoshimat, ahora tendremos el darshan del templo de Narsimh situado aquí. Este asentamiento de la aldea en el Himalaya es muy hermoso y está profundamente entrelazado con la espiritualidad. Cada grano y partícula aquí lleva la fragancia de nuestra rica cultura y herencia. Ahora tendremos darshan del templo Narsimh en este lugar muy sagrado.

El Mandir de Narsimh

El templo del Señor Narsimh está situado en la región de Yiotirmat (Yoshimat). Es uno de los templos más populares de Yoshimat dedicado al Señor Narsimh, el 4º Avatar del Señor Visnú. Como también es uno de los Sapta Badris, también se llama Naarsingh Badri o Narasimh Badri. Narsimh Badri fue una vez el hogar de San Badri. Se dice de este templo de más de 1.200 años de antigüedad, donde Adi Guru Shankaracharya instaló el ídolo del Señor Narsimh aquí. El ídolo del Señor, de 25 centímetros de altura instalado aquí, está tallado en piedra negra Saligram, mostrando al Señor Narsimh sentado en una flor de loto. Hay ídolos de Badrinarayan, Kuber y Uddhav también instalados junto al ídolo del Señor Narsimh.

A la derecha de Suami Narsimh, dentro de las instalaciones del templo, hay ídolos del Señor Rama, Mata Sita, Hanumán y Garuda. A la izquierda hay un ídolo de Maa Chandika (Kali Mata). Se sabe que el Señor Narsimh se encarnó para proteger y salvar a Su devoto Prahlada y para matar a su padre Hiraniakashipú, el rey demonio. El venerado ídolo de Suami Narsimh instalado en este templo está disminuyendo de tamaño día a día. La mano izquierda en el ídolo es bastante delgada y cada día se vuelve más delgada. El día que la mano izquierda del Señor Narsimh se rompa y caiga es el día en que las montañas Nar y Narayan (Jaya y Vijaya) se desintegrarán y colapsarán para convertirse en una. La ruta a Badrinat se bloqueará para siempre desde allí. Sólo después de esto se instalará el nuevo Badrinat a una distancia de aproximadamente 23 km de Yoshimat, en Bhavishya Badri. El Señor Narsimh protege a sus devotos de todas las calamidades. ¡Gloria al Señor Narsimh!
