Message on 17th Aug 2016:

I bless you with happiness, prosperity and everlasting grace. I address you for the first time since the renovation of the Mandir (temple). It makes me really happy to talk to all of you after such a long time.

While plucking soft roses, one does not always escape the sting of the thorns. Despite the risk, roses are liked by everyone. This is the absolute form of Maya (illusion). It contains both bliss and turmoil but even so, the attachment to Maya has stretched across the many births an individual takes. Maya, like an innocent infant attempting to move, assumes its own random course of action and is followed blindly by everyone. It attempts at enticement through various means of deception. Maya is as short lived and as imaginary as the various shapes depicted by clouds gathered over mountains. Once the mountains are no longer under cloud cover, their tranquility induces peace and bliss within oneself. When the Atma (soul/being) attains peace, it transcends to becoming Paramatma (the Supreme Being). Such kind of bliss is eternal and even in nature. The joy and sorrow wrought upon by Maya are brief and uneven in nature. Deep down inside, one knows that Maya is one of the many outcomes of the will of the Supreme Being. There is a very fine line between attaining the Supreme Conscience (reaching God), and going along with Maya. So long as one indulges in Maya, one is aware only of their self-existence. This delusion of having a body and a mind stays until the time when one realises that they are an integral part of the Supreme Being. This realisation drives Maya away and then if an individual were to look at their reflection in a clear river stream, they would see nothing. Instead, one would only hear the musical gamut of the Satsang (good company).

May happiness be upon you. This was Maya explained in an easily conceivable manner. Do not pay attention only to the words, you need to understand the message conveyed. Nal and Neel (two soldiers of Lord Ram’s army) constructed a bridge across the sea by merely inscribing Lord Ram’s name onto stones and tossing them across into the swirling waters. Lord Hanuman invoked the power within and chanting the name of the Lord, crossed the length of the ocean. How did they achieve their respective feats? The answer lies in the mantra Aham Brahm Asmi (I am the Supreme Being). Innumerable sages and ascetics have attained liberation by incorporating this mantra in their lives. Everybody has the same seed sown innately. One can become a Mahatma (a superior Atma) only if one succeeds in nurturing the seed with the light of Japam and the water of Tapam. When a toddler learns to walk, it falls down dozens of times. Instead of getting despondent, it keeps trying until it eventually succeeds.

The sheen of the eye is useful enough only to observe the mundane. The imperishable light deep within, which can be observed during meditation, is an outcome of true devotion. Subsequently, the spirit sets out on a beautiful journey and upon observing the light with which it has been endowed, it commands enough resolve to return to its body. It wonders about bestower of this divine light and the immeasurable bliss which it experiences. The white scarf with a white border adds to the magnificence of the spirit. Hence, divinity brings out the inner glow of an individual.

A word does not have a meaning of its own accord. The meaning is always interpreted according to one’s convenience. Every such interpretation has its own colour. Similarly, the life of every individual holds a different value to it. The one who realises this true value, is the one who leads their life in the direction of their ambitions.

Gurur Brahma Gurur Vishnu Gurur Devo Maheswara” sings the glory of a Guru, equaling a Guru with God. The company of a Guru is true Satsang . The voice of the Guru is the voice of God. It touches the soul of the disciple. Guru’s presence makes the disciple attain their spiritual goal of self realisation. Hence, “Asato Ma Sadgamaya, Tamaso Ma Jyotirgamaya” originate from the voice of the Guru. The charan sparsh (touching the feet) of a Guru is as pious as bathing in the Ganges. Guru, or Master is another name for devotion – irrespective of caste, creed or religion. A true Master’s discourse invokes the student in their disciples. To obey the Master is to visualise God. With death begins the journey of self realisation. The life henceforth is a long journey in search of truth. Truth is prevalent everywhere but one can enjoy the bliss it entails only when one attains it. The darshan of the Guru is above all the other darshans you will have. Guru has only one kind of darshan reserved for their disciples – marga darshan (guidance), since it is the only way to reach one’s destiny. Here is a parable – When Guru and God both are standing together in front of you, you must revere your Master first for had it not been for Him, you wouldn’t have been alive to see this moment. Guru and a disciple share a very special bond, the bond of affinity. Guru is the one who steers the disciples clear from the times of turmoil. Even if a Guru doesn’t want to be recognised as a Guru, the respect they have earned entitles them for this appellation. Ramayana, The Bhagavad Geeta and the Puranas are Gurus as well. They keep guiding their regular readers. The inner voice which tells you the difference between the wrong and the right is your Guru too. You also are a Guru. Atma is made of the substance of the Supreme Being. It is urging you for its invocation and is promising you with divinity in return. Those who obey their Masters have nothing to be afraid of, not even death because they know that the life-death routine is never ending, that life is eternal.

May every single discourse of mine serve as a guiding light for you. Try to act on My words instead of merely listening to them. Only then will I continue this routine of discourses to guide you. Not obeying the command of the Supreme Being will result into the fading of the divine light. You will not get anyone else as easily as Me. I no longer feel like addressing you anymore since merely listening to My discourses will not serve any purpose. You need to walk the talk in order for me to continue addressing you. Stop worrying about what might become of you for I have decided each and every individual’s fate. It is your love that make me write to you but where is the devotion which will make me physically appear before you? The bond should be of love, not devotion. The power of devotion will only make you attain self realisation and bliss. But I will keep waiting for you until you surrender completely. Surrender has a greater meaning to it. It reflects your determination. I will appear before you only on one condition – You need to prove to Me that you understand My mission or else, the divine sankalpam (resolve) can change. My will can change. Till the time you surrender to Me with complete faith, you won’t be able to realise the true essence of either Sathya Sai, or yourself. Seeking refuge with the Lord means to let go of all your fears except for one – the fear of losing the proximity of the Lord. I will continue giving discourses and my next discourse will follow very soon.

Time has changed its course towards Change. Everything will change after the forthcoming Durga Pooja. I will bring many of My children closer to this place and will bid many of My children adieu from this place. Only those of My children will let go of Me, who will not comply with the change I am set to bring about. The change will be complete in its own sense. Another portal to this place will open which will call people with arms open wide. I have had enough of people’s differences, enough of arguments. All of this has to come to an end. From now on, I will not answer any question anyone might have. In order to search for an answer, pray to Me and you are bound to find answers to anything you might want to ask. I will answer only to prayers from now on. No more interaction. The portal which I mentioned earlier will command magnificence way beyond your imagination can perceive. My children, keep praying that all of you are selected to be a part of the new change. You will be aboard the ship which will sail you all along the waves of truth. I will not disclose My mission and My purpose to anyone.

The world looks again in the face of the danger of a major natural calamity in a particular area. Continue chanting Om Namah Shivaay, but before that, pray to God for refuge.

After the Durga Pooja, I will perform a leela (divine pageant) which won’t be local to Kangra, but will be evident across all the places associated with the name of Sai. The leela will be of a selection for the whole Sai fraternity. The pageant will consist of selection of those devotees who have shunned Maya for good. Kangra will become an epitome of the truth about Sathya Sai to the whole world. Be Happy ! My blessings to you.
