*“Ashram”*
After learning from my Guru for many years, I realized that there isn’t really much to know — there is only the Self! Man runs around uselessly here and there, while life is actually about pausing and observing everything. To pause and observe means to stop within — to seek the inner Self!
One day, my Gurudev said to me, “A time will come when the responsibility of teaching will fall upon your shoulders. People will come here, and it will be your duty to guide them on the right path. Whatever I have taught you — it is not for you alone. You must share it. For that purpose, in the time to come, this place will become an Ashram. People from across the country and from abroad will come. Whoever I send to you, it will be your responsibility to guide them.”
I laughed and said to Swamiji, “You speak of people coming from other countries, but even people nearby don’t come here! Who here even understands spirituality or meditation?”
But the future was known only to God, so I stopped thinking about it and decided to simply focus on my work.
There was neither any plan nor desire for an Ashram. When one is not even ready to take up a responsibility, how can one think about it? But when God has written a task into your destiny, nothing can stop it — no knowledge is even needed. He Himself makes it happen, whatever has to be done!
Thus, my days passed. I met many people and went through both good and bad experiences. Then, one day — one night — I had a dream! Perhaps it was a sign of what was to come.
In the dream, I saw myself in a temple. Outside the temple stood a very beautiful and large idol of Lord Hanuman — radiant and divine. I went and sat at His feet, and gazing upon His glorious form, I said, “Hanumanji, You are so beautiful.”
The moment I said this, I saw Hanumanji emerge from the idol in living form before me and say, “Come, where do you want to take Me?”
I was astonished to see Him in person. Saying only this, Hanumanji swiftly soared into the sky, taking me along with Him. In just a moment, He landed behind my house — in a place like a small forest. He stood there with one foot on the ground, looked back at me, and said, “Do not come beyond this point.” Saying so, He moved toward a nearby hill and disappeared.
I woke up. My heart was filled with joy after seeing the Lord in my dream. I could not understand what it meant.
In the morning, I narrated my dream to everyone, but no one could interpret it. I took it as a blessing from God and stayed calm. Sometimes dreams have no meaning, I thought.
Time passed… It was the year *2015*.
