Dev Badri Shaligram*

After walking for many days, we finally reached a place called Pandukeshwar!
In the evening, we went to visit a temple there. The temple’s name was *“Yog Dhyan Badri.”*
Inside the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, there were many Shaligrams kept.
Looking at them, I felt, “How wonderful it would be if I could have one of these!”
The thought made me smile, but then I said to myself, “Ah, Lord, you’re reminding me again! This time I won’t forget. Once I reach Badrinath, the very first thing I’ll do is get a Shaligram!”

See how the Lord is—when you remember Him, He too remembers you just as much.
Sometimes we wonder, “Does God really listen to us?”
But these experiences show us that He is always watching and listening to us from within.
If that isn’t God, then who else could it be?
The One I’m remembering, whose name I’m chanting, He’s the One appearing before me in every temple!
And not just for me—He showers the same love upon all of us.
We only need to understand that love, to feel it!

But a human being fills his mind with so many thoughts, worries, and endless tasks—some for reason, some without reason—that he fails to grasp that divine love.

And so, walking onward, we finally reached *Badrinath.*
There we stayed in a small hotel.
Badrinath was the final destination of our pilgrimage on foot.
The temple was very crowded, so we decided to go for darshan the next day.

Among all the divine experiences of this temple and the entire journey,
this is just one—one moment that I’m sharing here.
Someday, you’ll find all my travel experiences in a book!

The journey came to a pause.
Now all that was left was to wait for the next morning…

देव वद्री शालिग्राम 


काफ़ी दिन पैदल चलते चलते हम, पांडकेश्वर नाम जगह पे पहुँचे!
शाम को वहाँ एक मंदिर मे दर्शन करने गए! मंदिर का नाम था,
“योग ध्यान बद्री”! मंदिर के गर्भ ग्रह बहुत सारे शालिग्राम रखे थे! मुझे देख कर मन हुआ की कितना अच्छा होता इनमे से एक मुझे मिल जाता! ये सोच कर मेरी हँसी निकल गई, पर फिर मैंने हाँ हाँ भगवान जी आप फिर से मुझे याद दिला रहे हैं , इस बार मैं भूलने वाला नहीं! बद्रीनाथ जाकर पक्का पहला काम शालिग्राम ही लूँगा!

भगवान भी देखो कैसे हैं। आप उनको याद करते हैं, तो वो भी आपको उतना ही याद करते है, क्या भगवान हमारी बात सुनते होंगे ऐसा विचार कभी कभी सबके ही मन में आ जाता है, लेकिन ये सब अनुभव बताते है, हमारे भीतर से वो हमेशा हमको देख रहे हैं सुन रहे हैं! ये ईश्वर नहीं तो और कौन है।जिनको मै याद कर रहा हूँ, उनका नाम स्मरण कर रहा हूँ! और वो हर जगह मंदिर में मुझे दिख रहे हैं! मुझे ही नहीं हम सबको वो एक समान प्रेम देते हैं, बस उनके प्रेम को समझना है!महसूस करना हैं! इंसान के पास इतनी बातें इतने काम इतनी चिंताएँ उसने पाल रखी होती हैं अपने दिमाग में कुछ वजह कुछ बेवजह! जिनके कारण वो ईश्वरीय प्रेम को समझ ही नहीं पाता है!

ऐसे ही चलते चलते हम बद्रीनाथ जा पहुँचे, और बहुत वहाँ एक होटल में रुके, बद्रीनाथ हमारी इस पैदल यात्रा का अंतिम पड़ाव था? मंदिर में बहुत भीड़ थी,तो हमने अलगे दिन दर्शन में जाने का सोचा था! इस मंदिर की सारी महिमा और यात्रा के सारे अनुभव में से,बस ये तो बस एक अनुभव है जिसको लिख रहा हूँ। अपनी यात्राओं के अनुभव आप सब एक दिन किताबों में पाओगे!! 

यात्रा का विराम था ! बस अब अगले दिन सुबह का इंतज़ार था!………..क्रमशः!!

Después de caminar varios días, llegamos a un lugar llamado Pandekeshwar.
Por la tarde, visitamos un templo. ¡Se llamaba "Yoga Dhyan Badri"! El sanctasanctórum albergaba numerosos Shaligrams. Al verlos, pensé: "¡Qué bien me gustaría tener uno!". Me eché a reír, pero luego dije: "¡Sí, Dios, me lo estás recordando otra vez, esta vez no lo olvidaré! ¡Lo primero que haré cuando llegue a Badrinath es sin duda buscar un Shaligram!".

Mira cómo es Dios. Cuando lo recuerdas, Él te recuerda igualmente. A todos nos viene a la mente la idea de que Dios nos escucha, pero todas estas experiencias nos dicen que Él siempre nos observa y nos escucha desde nuestro interior. Si esto no es Dios, ¿quién más es? ¡Recuerdo los nombres de quienes recuerdo! ¡Y los veo por todas partes en los templos! Nos ama a todos por igual, no solo a mí. Solo necesitas comprender y sentir Su amor. Una persona tiene tantas cosas que decir, tantas preocupaciones, algunas sin razón, y tantas otras cosas en la mente, que le impiden comprender el amor divino.

Continuando este viaje, llegamos a Badrinath y nos alojamos en un hotel. Badrinath fue la última parada de nuestra caminata. El templo estaba muy concurrido, así que decidimos visitarlo al día siguiente. De toda la gloria de este templo y todas las experiencias del viaje, esta que os estoy contando, es solo una de las experiencias vividas. ¡Algún día encontrarás todas las experiencias de mis viajes en libros!

¡El viaje se había detenido! ¡Ahora solo nos quedaba esperar a la mañana siguiente! ¡Continuaremos!




**Lord Badri Shaligram:
El Señor Badri Shaligram se refiere a la estatua sagrada de piedra negra del Señor Vishnu (Badrinarayan) en el Templo de Badrinath en Uttarakhand, que es una manifestación de Vishnu. El término combina "Badri", que hace referencia al azufaifo indio bajo el cual meditaba el Señor Vishnu, y "Shaligram", el nombre de las piedras sagradas fosilizadas de amonites que se veneran como símbolo de Vishnu.
