Day 19 – Towards Kedarnath

Having had the awesome Darshan of Gangotri, nobody wants to leave from here. The love of Mother Ganga and the beauty of Nature entices the heart and mind of every believer who comes here. The intoxication of Nature’s beauty and love is such. The love that one feels and receives from Mother Ganga and the sound of Har Har emanating from Her flow; enchants everyone’s hearts. Today everyone has a heavy heart because nobody wished to leave Gangotri for elsewhere but, there is also this joyful anticipation of the Darshan of Kedarnath next. Having loaded our luggage in the vehicles and hailed Mother Ganga with our Jaikar, we set off towards our next destination Kedar. We will also have Darshan of all the places that fall on the route from Gangotri to Kedar and know of their significance. Every heart is filled with a treasure trove full of memories, even as we journey ahead. Some are a bit somber and morose, while some others are busy chatting. The vistas of Nature and the Bhagirathi flowing by the side remind us of the scenes on our way up. Bidding goodbye to them we continue our descent. The eyes are turning moist as we recall Mother Ganga’s Love. Ganga is not merely a river. She is the embodiment of purity, fortitude & love that has emerged from the tresses of Lord Shiva. She is Love itself, that flows in the form of a river, as the one who washes away all sins. A thousand salutations to you O Mother. Hail Mother Ganga!

Tihari

After a long journey down the mountains, we have arrived at Tihari. Tihari is the district headquarters. Tihari is a beautiful place nestled in the mountains. Tourists come here in large numbers every year, for a holiday. This place is quite famous as a religious place too. The main town of Tihari is situated on the banks of the rivers Bhagirathi and Bheelangana. In the earlier days, Tihari was just a small village but the King of Garhwal, Raja Sudarshan Shah made Tihari the capital of his Kingdom and the kingdom came to be known as Tihari-Garhwal. However, the whole of Tihari was submerged in water during the construction of the Tihari dam. Many people and the nearby agricultural villages in the area were also inundated. You can see the Tihari dam from your vehicles as we are moving on the road; the dam that  contains blue water and the sorrow of an unknown number of people within. After crossing Tihari, we will have Darshan of yet another ancient temple endowed with the Divine powers, called Chandravadani. So, come let us have the Darshan of this temple and learn of its history. Hail Mother Chandravadani!

Looking at the tide of devotion that flows incessantly through the temples, monasteries and ashrams of Uttarakhand, the seed of faith and belief sprouts even in the atheists. The Chandravadani temple located on the Chandrakoot mountain of Tihari Garhwal is one among the trio of Devi temples (the other 2 being Kunjapuri and Surkanda) containing their energy. It is also one among the 52 sacred Shaktipeeth (Siddhpeeth) temples.

ऊनीसवाँ दिन-केदारनाथ धाम की ओर

गंगोत्री के अदभूत सौदंर्य का दर्शन पाने के बाद किसी का भी मन इस स्थान को छोड़ने का नही है।माँ गंगा का प्रेम और प्रकृति का सौंदर्य स्वरूप यहाँ आने वाले हर श्रद्वालु के मन को सम्मोहित कर लेता है।प्रकृति का नशा ही ऐसा है।उसका प्रेम ही ऐसा है।माँ गंगा के सानिध्य मे जो प्रेम पाया और हर हर नाद करती गंगा सबके मन को मोह लेती है।आज सबका मन उदास हो रहा है।गंगोत्री से कही और जाने की ईच्छा नही हो रही।पर मन मे खुशी है कि अब केदारधाम का दर्शन प्राप्त होगा।गाड़ियों मे सामान रखने के बाद,गंगा माँ जय जय कार करने हम अपने अगले पड़ाव केदार की ओर निकल चले।गंगोत्री से केदार मार्ग पे जो भी स्थान हैं हम उनका दर्शन पायेंगे और उनका महत्व जानेगे।हर कोई मन ढेर सारी यादें भरकर हम आगे बढ़ते जा रहे हैं कोई उदास है तो गप्पे मार रहे हैं।प्रकृति के नजारों और भगीरथी के साथ साथ गाड़ियाँ घाटियों मे उतरने लगी जिन नजारों के साथ हम आगे बढ़े।उनको अलाविदा कहते हम आगे बढ़ रहे हैं।आज आखें भी नम हो रही थी,क्योंकि गंगा माँ प्यार याद आ रहा हैं।गंगा मात्र एक नदी ही नही है,वो शिव की जटाओं से निकलने वाली पवित्रता,धैर्य,और प्रेम का रूप हैं।वो नदी पानी के रूप में स्वयं प्रेम ,पापनाशिनी बन कर बह रही है।गंगा माँ शत शत नमन।जय बोलो गंगा माई की जय।।

टिहरी

एक पहाड़ों के लम्बे सफर बाद हम गंगोत्री से टिहरी आ पहुँचे।टिहरी जिले का मुख्यालय है। पर्वतों के बीच स्थित यह जगह काफी खूबसूरत है। हर वर्ष काफी संख्या में पर्यटक यहां पर घूमने के लिए आते हैं। यह स्थान धार्मिक स्थल के रूप में भी काफी प्रसिद्ध है। मूल टिहरी नगर भागीरथी और भीलांगना नदियों के तट पर स्थित था। पहले यह एक छोटा सा ग्राम हुआ करता था, लेकिन गढ़वाल के राजा सुदर्शन शाह ने इस नगर को अपनी रियासत की राजधानी बनाया, और इसी के नाम पर राज्य का नाम टिहरी-गढ़वाल रियासत पड़ा।परतु टिहरी बाँध के निर्माण के कारण पूरा टिहरी नगर जलमग्न हो गया। इसके ना जाने कितने लोग प्रभावित हुऐ बहुत सुदर खेती बाड़ी वाले गांव सब जलमग्न हो गऐ।रास्ते मे गाडियों से ही आप टिहरी बांध देख सकते है नीले पानी का बड़ा सा बांध अपने भीतर न जाने कितने लोगों का दर्द छुपाये बैठा है।टिहरी से आगे बढ़ते हम मे एक और पौराणिक और दिव्यता ,शक्ति से भरे मंदिर का दर्शन प्राप्त होगा।उसे चन्द्रबदनी कहते हैं।तो चलो इस मंदिर का दर्शन पायें साथ साथ इसका इतिहास भी जाने। जय बोलो चन्द्रबदनी मात की जय।।।

Día 19 – Hacia Kedarnat

Habiendo tenido el increíble darshan de Gangotri, nadie quiere irse de aquí. El amor de la Madre Ganges y la belleza de la naturaleza atrae el corazón y la mente de cada creyente que viene aquí, tal es la embriaguez y el amor de su belleza. El amor que uno siente y recibe de la Madre Ganges y el sonido de Har Har que emana de Su flujo encanta los corazones de todos. Hoy todos tienen un corazón pesado porque nadie deseaba abandonar Gangotri para irse a otro lado, pero también existe esta alegre anticipación del darshan de Kedarnat. Después de cargar nuestro equipaje en los vehículos y llamar a la Madre Ganges con nuestro grito de alegría Jai, partiremos hacia nuestro próximo destino Kedarnat. También tendremos darshan de todos los lugares que se encuentran en la ruta de Gangotri a Kedarnat y conoceremos su importancia. Cada corazón está lleno de un tesoro lleno de recuerdos, incluso mientras viajamos por delante. Algunos de vosotros son un poco sombríos y estáis malhumorados, mientras que otros están ocupados charlando. Las vistas de la naturaleza y el Río Bhagirathi que fluyen a un lado nos recuerdan las escenas en nuestro camino hacia arriba. Despidiéndonos de ellos, continuamos nuestro descenso. Los ojos se vuelven húmedos cuando recordamos el amor de la Madre Ganges. El Ganges no es simplemente un río. Ella es la encarnación de la pureza, la fortaleza y el amor que ha surgido de las trenzas del Señor Shiva. Ella es el amor mismo, que fluye en forma de río, como el que lava todos los pecados. Mil saludos para ti, oh, Madre, ¡Gloria a ti, Madre Ganges!

Tihari

Después de un largo viaje por las montañas, hemos llegado a Tihari. Tihari es la sede del distrito. Tihari es un hermoso lugar ubicado en las montañas. Los turistas vienen aquí en grandes cantidades cada año, para pasar unas vacaciones. Este lugar es bastante famoso como un lugar religioso también. La ciudad principal de Tihari está situada a orillas de los ríos Bhagirathi y Bheelangana. En los primeros días, Tihari era solo una pequeña aldea, pero el Rey de Garhwal, Raja Sudarshan Shah convirtió a Tihari en la capital de su Reino y el reino llegó a ser conocido como Tihari-Garhwal. Sin embargo, todo Tihari se sumergió en agua durante la construcción de la presa de Tihari. Muchas personas y las aldeas agrícolas cercanas en el área también fueron inundadas. Puedes ver la presa de Tihari desde tus vehículos mientras nos movemos en el camino. La presa que contiene agua azul y la tristeza de un número desconocido de personas dentro. Después de cruzar Tihari, tendremos darshan de otro antiguo templo dotado de poderes divinos, llamado Chandravadani. Entonces, venid a tener el darshan de este templo y aprended de su historia. ¡Gloria a ti, Madre Chandravadani!
