Our next stop after the Kedar Darshan is Badrinath. Having had Darshan of Lord Bhole Nath, we will proceed to Choupata today. Choupata is an extremely beautiful place. Taking the route to Badrinath from Gauri Kund, we have arrived at Choupata. Come, let us get to know of its speciality & uniqueness.

Choupata

Choupata is located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, at a distance of 37 kms from Ukhimath. This mountainous town is one such beautiful place where one feels very peaceful and relaxed. This place is also called a mini-Switzerland. This is the only halting point for vehicles plying between Kedarnath and Badrinath. It is a small hill station whose pristine beauty is like a scene captured in a picture frame. It is an altogether different world that feels verily like Heaven on earth. The pilgrimage on foot to Tungnath and Chandrashila further ahead commences from Choupata, but pilgrims who undertake a Yatra to Kedarnath, Madhyamaheshwar, Tungnath, Kalpeshwar and Panchkedar of Rudranath are usually very few in number. A majority of the pilgrims undertake the Char Dham Yatra whereby, after visiting Yamunotri, Gangotri & Kedarnath, they travel straight to Badrinath. Due to the absence of crowds, the natural beauty and serenity of Choupata which is one amongst the most beautiful places in Garhwal, is still intact.

Choupata-Tungnath-Chandrashila trek is the ‘go to’ destination for trekkers. There are trekking trails aplenty in the areas surrounding Choupata. These have been formed or created by cutting through the forest and grasslands. Due to the presence of diverse species of birds, Choupata is popular with bird lovers too. This beautiful place presents a very attractive view of the Nandadevi, Trishul and Chaukhamba mountain ranges. The mornings here are very enchanting, when the first rays of the Sun kiss the majestic Himalayan peaks. There are several memorable tourist spots to visit here that make it an unforgettable experience worth having, for tourists. This small hill station is full of attractive tourist locations. Kedarnath wildlife sanctuary, Tungnath, Chandrashila and Devariya Taal are the prominent ones, amongst several others.

In summer, the climate here is pleasant & comfortable. The mountains are very clearly visible in the Himalayas. The cool breeze blowing gently from the Himalayas makes Choupata an attractive holiday spot, but one must not forget to carry some light wollenwear clothing. The greenery of Choupata beckons tourists to lose themselves in the beautiful natural forests all around. During the monsoon season, sheets of ice cover the rocks here and you can savour the pleasure of sipping hot tea in the cold rainy weather. Due to landslides in the monsoon season, the roads in Choupata are often blocked and have to remain closed for several hours. The risk & probability of natural disasters in Choupata is quite high, during the monsoon season. Choupata is an ideal place for spending time in solitude & peace, during the winter season. In winter, the magnificent view of the peaks can be seen from here and that is the reason why Choupata looks so very attractive in winter, like a mini-Switzerland. The weather here is extremely cold in the winter season and one must carry thick & heavy woollen clothing. In winter, one can enjoy the snowfall, ice-trekking & camping out in the snow, in Choupata.

इकतालीसवाँ दिन—-बद्रीनाथ की ओर

केदार दर्शन के बाद अब हमारा अगला पड़ाब बद्रीनाथ है।भगवान भोले नाथ के दर्शन के बाद अब हम आज चौपता की ओर जायेंगे।चौपता एक बेहद सुंदर जगह है।गौरीकुण्ड से निकलकर बद्रीनाथ के रास्ते आगे बढ़ते हम चौपता आ पहुंचे।आईये जानते हैं कुछ खास बातें चौपता के बारे मे।

चौपता

चोपता उत्तराखंड के रुद्रप्रयाग ज़िले में उखीमठ से 37 किलोमीटर दूर है।यह पहाड़ी स्थान एक ऐसी खूबसूरत जगह है,जहाँ पहुँच कर मन को शांति और विश्राम मिलता है।इस स्थान को ‘मिनी स्विट्ज़रलैंड’ के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।यह सिर्फ एक पड़ाव है जहाँ केदारनाथ और बद्रीनाथ के बीच चलने वाली गाड़ियाँ रुकती हैं।यह छोटा-सा हिल स्टेशन है जहाँ की सुंदरता किसी साँचे में कैद तस्वीर जैसी लगती है। यह किसी दूसरी दुनिया यानी धरती पर स्वर्ग जैसा अहसास कराती है। तुंगनाथ और उसके आगे चंद्रशिला के लिए पदयात्रा चोपता से ही शुरू होती है मगर केदारनाथ, मध्यमहेश्वर,तुंगनाथ,कल्पेश्वर और रुद्रनाथकी पंचकेदार यात्रा करने वाले तीर्थ यात्री कम ही होते हैं । अधिकतर तीर्थ यात्री चार धाम की यात्रा करते हैं। वे यमुनोत्री और गंगोत्री के बाद केदारनाथ से सीधे बद्रीनाथ के लिए रवाना हो जाते हैं। भीड़भाड़ नहीं होने की वजह से ही गढ़वाल के सबसे सुंदर इलाकों में से एक चोपता की कुदरती खूबसूरती और शांति अब भी बरकरार है।

चोपटा-तुंगनाथ-चंद्रशिला ट्रेक, ट्रेक्केर्स के लिए एक प्रसिद्ध गंतव्य स्थान है।चोपता क्षेत्र में बहुत सारे ट्रेक और ट्रेल्स है , जिन्हे जंगल और घास के मैदानों को काट कर बनाया गया है।पक्षियों के बहुतायात के कारण ये स्थान पक्षी प्रेमियों के बीच अत्यधिक लोकप्रिय है।इस खूबसूरत स्थल से हिमालय की नंदादेवी, त्रिशूल एवं चौखम्बा पर्वत श्रृंखला के आकर्षक दृश्य दिखते हैं । जब सूर्य की किरणें हिमालय की चोटियों पर पड़ती हैं तो यहाँ की सुबह काफ़ी मनोरम लगती है । यहाँ कई यादगार पर्यटन स्थान मौजूद हैं, जो पर्यटकों की यात्रा को यादगार बनाने के लिए पर्याप्त हैं। यह छोटा-सा पहाड़ी स्थान पर्यटन के लिए आकर्षक जगहों से भरपूर है। जहाँ ‘केदारनाथ वाइल्ड लाइफ सेंचुरी’, तुंगनाथ , चंद्रशिला और देवहरिया ताल आदि प्रमुख पर्यटक स्थान हैं

गर्मियों के दौरान चोपता का मौसम काफी नम्र और सुखद रहता है । हिमालय में पर्वत बिलकुल साफ़ रूप से दिखाई देते हैं जिससे कि चोपता में ठंडी हवा का आनंद लेने में छुट्टी का आकर्षण बढ़ जाता है और साथ में हलके ऊनी कपडे जरुर ले जाए।चोपता की हरियाली प्रकृति के जंगल में खो जाने के लिए पर्यटकों का स्वागत करती है।मानसून के दौरान चट्टानों पर बर्फ की चादर लगी रहती है ।इस मौसम में चाय की घूंट का आनंद लें सकते है । मॉनसून के दौरान भूस्खलन के कारण कुछ घंटों तक चोपता की सड़कों को अवरुद्ध होना पड़ता है लेकिन मानसून में चोपता में प्राकृतिक जोखिम अत्यधिक होता है।चोपता में सर्दियों के दौरान शांति और एकांत माहौल में समय बिताने के लिए यह एक बेहतरीन स्थान है। सर्दियों के दौरान चोटीयो का सबसे अच्छा दृश्य दिखाई देता है क्योंकि यह जगह मिनी स्विट्जरलैंड की तरह आकर्षक लगती है। सर्दियों के दौरान चोपता में ठंड अत्यधिक होती है, इसलिए भारी ऊन-मोल के कपडे जरुर ले जाए । चोपता में सर्दियों के दौरान हिमपात, बर्फ ट्रैकिंग और शिविर का भी आनंद लिया जा सकता है ।

Nuestra siguiente parada después del darshan de Kedarnat es Badrinat. Habiendo tenido darshan del Señor Bhole Nat, hoy iremos a Choupata. Choupata es un lugar extremadamente hermoso. Tomando la ruta a Badrinat desde Gauri Kund, hemos llegado a Choupata. Venid, conozcamos su especialidad y singularidad.

Chopata

Chopata se encuentra en el distrito Rudraprayag del Estado de Uttarakhand, a una distancia de 37 km de Ukhimat. Este pueblo montañoso es uno de esos hermosos lugares donde uno se siente muy tranquilo y relajado. Este lugar también se llama mini-Suiza. Este es el único punto de parada para vehículos que navegan entre Kedarnat y Badrinat. Es una pequeña estación de montaña cuya belleza virgen es como una escena capturada en un cuadro. Es un mundo completamente diferente que realmente se siente como el cielo en la tierra. La peregrinación a pie a Tungnat y Chandrashila más adelante comienza desde Chopata, pero los peregrinos que emprenden un Yatra a Kedarnat, Madhyamaheshwar, Tungnat, Kalpeshwar y Panchkedar de Rudranat suelen ser muy pocos. La mayoría de los peregrinos realizan el Chaar Dhaam Yatra por el cual, después de visitar Yamunotri, Gangotri y Kedarnat, viajan directamente a Badrinat. Debido a la ausencia de multitudes, la belleza natural y la serenidad de Chopata, uno de los lugares más bellos de Garhwal, aún está intacta.

La caminata Chopata-Tungnat-Chandrashila es el destino ideal para los excursionistas. Ahí, en los alrededores de Chopata, se puede practicar el senderismo. Estos se han formado o creado cortando el bosque y los pastizales. Debido a la presencia de diversas especies de aves, Chopata también es popular entre los amantes de las aves. Este hermoso lugar presenta una vista muy atractiva de las cordilleras Nandadevi, Trishul y Chaukhamba. Las mañanas aquí son muy encantadoras, cuando los primeros rayos del sol besan los majestuosos picos del Himalaya. Hay varios lugares turísticos memorables para visitar aquí que hacen que sea una experiencia inolvidable para los turistas. Esta pequeña estación de montaña está llena de atractivos lugares turísticos. El santuario de vida silvestre de Kedarnat, Tungnat, Chandrashila y Devariya Taal son los más destacados, entre otros.

En verano, el clima aquí es agradable y confortable. Las montañas son muy claramente visibles en el Himalaya. La brisa fresca que sopla suavemente del Himalaya hace de Chopata un lugar de vacaciones atractivo, pero no se debe olvidar llevar ropa ligera de lana. La vegetación de Chopata invita a los turistas a perderse en los hermosos bosques naturales que la rodean. Durante la temporada del monzón, las capas de hielo cubren las rocas aquí y uno puede saborear el placer de tomar un té caliente en el clima frío y lluvioso. Debido a los deslizamientos de tierra en la temporada del monzón, las carreteras en Chopata a menudo están bloqueadas y deben permanecer cerradas durante varias horas. El riesgo y la probabilidad de desastres naturales en Chopata es bastante alto, durante la temporada del monzón. Chopata es un lugar ideal para pasar tiempo en soledad y paz, durante la temporada de invierno. En invierno, la magnífica vista de los picos se puede ver desde aquí y esa es la razón por la cual Chopata se ve tan atractiva en invierno, como una mini-Suiza. El clima aquí es extremadamente frío en la temporada de invierno y uno debe abrigarse bien y llevar ropa de lana gruesa y pesada. En invierno, se puede disfrutar de la nieve, el senderismo en hielo y acampar en la nieve, en Chopata.
