| Char Dham Yatra – towards Badrinath, Day 59 |


Having had Darshan of all the temples and learnt of their glory, we have now begun our journey towards the final stop of our pilgrimage. Knowing the greatness of every place and having the Darshan of each of them has, at every step, rendered our lives free from sin. More than just seeing the place, listening from the heart to its glory and grandeur, bestows great good fortune. With all the pilgrims journeying ahead in their respective vehicles, enjoying the view of the mountains covered at places by snow or by flowing rivers; we are passing through those routes which also have the path branching off to Hemkund Sahib and the Valley of Flowers. Offering our prayers & salutations to these places visible below, we continue on our journey. The route is so very beautiful that it is beyond description in mere words.

Towards evening, we have reached Badrinath, a beautiful and ethereal town nestled in the lap of the snow laden mountains, with snow capped peaks surrounding it on all four sides. The main entrance to Badrinath temple caparisoned by beautiful hues and the tall snow covered mountains in the backdrop, is now visible from the distance. The sweet and gurgling sounds of the Alaknanda resonate in the entire valley. Beholding this scene feels so very sublime & ethereal. Everybody wanted to have bus Darshan of the temple, but had to proceed to their accommodation, out of sheer exhaustion.

After some rest, we shall all gather together at a suitable spot and I shall first describe the glory and greatness of Badrinath, before we proceed to the temple for Darshan.

उनासठवाँ दिन–बद्रीनाथ की ओर

सब मदिरों का दर्शन और महिमा का गुणगान करते हम अपनी यात्रा के अंतिम पड़ाव की ओर बढ़ने लगे।हर जगह के महत्व को जानकर बहाँ का दर्शन पाकर जीवन पाप मुक्त होता गया,किसी चीज को देखने से ज्यादा उसके महिमा को दिल से सुनने मात्र से सौभाग्य प्राप्त होता है।सब यात्री गाड़ियों मे बैठकर आगे बढ़ते हुये।पहाड़ो का आंनद लेते।कही नदियां तो कही बर्फ से ढके पहाड़ ।हम उन रास्तों से गुजरे जहाँ से हेमकुण्ड साहिब,और फूलों की घाटी का मार्ग जाता है।नीचे मार्ग से ही उस जगह को नमन करते।हम आगे बढ़ गये।रास्ता इतना सुंदर है कि व्याख्या कर पाना कठिन है।शाम होते बद्रीनाथ जा पहुँचे।चारों तरफ बर्फ के पहाड़ और पर्वतों की गोद में बसा बद्रीनाथ शहर बहुत ही सुंदर है,आलौकिक है।पीछे पर्वत और सुंदर रगों से सुसजित बद्रीनाथ मंदिर का मुख्य द्वार दूर से नजर आ रहा था।अलकनंदा के स्वर से पूरी घाटी गूजती है।ये नजारा देखना बहुत ही आलौकिक है।अब हर कोई बस दर्शन पाना चाहता था।लेकिन थकान के कारण पहले सभी अपने अपने कमरों मे गये।आराम के बाद एक स्थान पर बैठकर सर्वप्रथम मै बद्रीनाथ की महिमा का गुणगान करुँगा फिर मंदिर दर्शन।जय बोलो बद्री विशाल की जय।

Habiendo tenido darshan de todos los templos y aprendido de su gloria, ahora hemos comenzado nuestro viaje hacia la parada final de nuestra peregrinación. Conocer la grandeza de cada lugar y tener darshan de cada uno de ellos, a cada paso, ha liberado nuestras vidas del pecado. Más que sólo ver el lugar, escuchar desde el corazón hasta su gloria y grandeza, otorga una gran fortuna. Con todos los peregrinos viajando por delante en sus respectivos vehículos, disfrutando de la vista de las montañas cubiertas en lugares nevados o que fluyen ríos, estamos pasando por esas rutas que también tienen el camino que se bifurca hacia Hemkund Sahib y el Valle de las Flores. Al ofrecer nuestras oraciones y saludos a estos lugares visibles por delante, continuamos nuestro viaje. La ruta es tan hermosa que está más allá de toda descripción en simples palabras. Hacia el anochecer, habremos llegado a Badrinat, un pueblo hermoso y etéreo ubicado en el regazo de las montañas nevadas, con picos nevados que lo rodean por los cuatro lados. La entrada principal al templo de Badrinat, cubierta por hermosos tonos y las altas montañas cubiertas de nieve en el fondo, ahora es visible desde la distancia. Los dulces y gorjeantes sonidos del Río Alaknanda resuenan en todo el valle. Contemplar esta escena se siente tan sublime y etéreo. Todos querían tener darshan del templo en el autobús. Sin embargo, tuvieron que proceder a su alojamiento, por puro agotamiento.

Después de descansar un poco, nos reuniremos todos en un lugar adecuado y, luego, os describiré la gloria y la grandeza de Badrinat, antes de proceder a entrar al templo para el darshan.
