Sri Shivananda on the 11th Annual Shrikand Mahadev Yatra from July 11-14 , 2018! Om Namah Shivaya! This is a 3-4 days trek in the divine company of Sri Shivananda to the Shrikhand Mahadev peak at 5227 metres(17150 ft.), Himachal Pradesh, India. The Shrikhand Mahadev peak is named after Lord Shiva.

This year too, the Sai Mangalam group of devotees assembled at Shivanandam Nivas, Kangra and in the divine company of Sri Shivananda, embarked on the 11th annual pilgrimage to the Shrikhand Mahadev peak. The trek followed the path from the Nirmand – Joan village, a trek of 70 kms through Himalayan mountains, glaciers and the rivers to the Shrikhand Mahadev peak. 

चलते रहो – a poem by Sri Shivananda

छोड़ो इन बातों में पड़ना मत
संसार मे बहुत सुख भरा पड़ा है॥
शायद अभी नही मिला।तो कल मिलेगा।
आज तक नही मिला है तो कल भी नही मिलेगा।
ये कौन कह सकता है,
खोदो थोड़ा और शायद जल स्त्रोत मिल जाये।
थोड़ी मेहनत और जल्दी थको मत।
मनजील ज्यादा दूर नही थोड़ा और चलो
इतना चले हो थोड़ा और चल लो॥
इतनी जिंदगी गवाई है। थोड़ी और दाव पर लगा के देख लो
और फिर नही होगा कुछ ऐसा नही है।

Translation of the above poem:
Don’t fall in all these things
There lies a lot of happiness in this world,
If not now, tomorrow you will achieve
If not till today, tomorrow also you won’t get it, 
Who says so?
Dig a bit more, you are very near
Little more efforts, retire not
Destination is not far, keep walking
Having come so far, walk a bit more
Having wasted so much life, once just give little a chance
And then see how it won’t not happen! Babaji ।।।।।।
