Maha Shivarathri is an important festival in the annual calendar of the trust and was celebrated with great serenity at Shivanandam Nivas in the divine presence of Babaji Sri Shivananda. The morning session was initiated with special havan(homa) for Lord Shiva and the evening session commenced with Bhajans and Kirtans from 10pm until 7am the next day. During the start of bhajans 13 Shiv lingams were seen manifested(see photos) just in front of the altar of Haidhakhan Babaji. Food(Annadhan) was served to all assembled people before the night long bhajans.
