Babaji's divine presence - Lessons in love and faith

Recently, a few of us had the privilege of being with Babaji. We had just arrived at a mall for some shopping when the rain began to pour heavily. As we parked the car, one of the brothers realized he had misplaced his wallet containing all his identity cards and other essentials. To make matters worse, he had a late-night flight to catch. Panic set in as he frantically searched his bag and the usual place where he kept his wallet, but it was nowhere to be found. The black purse had vanished.

Babaji, noticing his troubled expression, gently asked what was wrong. Without a moment’s hesitation, he instructed one of us to call the house we had just left to check if the wallet was still in the room. As we dialed the number, Babaji—seemingly out of nowhere—pulled the black purse from the side pocket of the brother’s bag, smiling like a child as he said, “Here it is...”

Both the brother and I had searched that bag thoroughly just moments earlier, and the purse had not been there. Yet, Babaji had found it effortlessly.

Babaji is always there in times of difficulty or worry, even when we may not consciously think of him.

This reminded me of another incident where Babaji demonstrated his omnipresence right before our eyes. During the 2019 Kailash Yatra, after we had completed the Parikrama, some of us were discussing whether Babaji is truly omnipresent. Two of us sat near the entrance of our hotel, talking about the nature of the Divine. Just then, Babaji came down from his room, mentioning he needed to visit some devotees staying in a different hotel nearby. They had some outstanding payments for their lodging and were short of funds.

It was 11 PM when he left, passing through the entrance in front of us. As time passed—11:30, 11:40 PM—there was no sign of his return. Worried, we went to check his room, only to find Babaji lying down, smiling at us, as if he had never left.

Indeed, he had walked past us at the entrance, yet at the same time, he was present in his room. Two physical bodies—an astonishing display of his divine omnipresence, reminding us that he can be in multiple places at once.

Reflecting on these experiences, I ask myself: what can we offer to our Vishwaguru? The answer is simple—our hearts and hands in service to his mission.????????????????????????????????????????
