After having the darshan of Mother Lakshmi’s temple, we were standing in the temple courtyard. A crowd began to gather around! Just then, the head priest came toward me. I noticed that in his hands was a Shaligram, adorned with a beautiful tulsi garland. My heart leapt with joy! I felt a divine energy fill that very moment. The priest placed the Shaligram in my hands and said, “Now have a good darshan of Him! I have just brought Him directly from the temple after the evening worship.”

After reaching our room, we received a call on our phone — it was from the temple official! He said that he wished to come and meet Babaji in our room. I agreed and welcomed him to come. After a short while, he arrived with a friend.

He brought with him the mala (garland) from the Lord’s temple and some of the Lord’s bhog (offering). He handed me a bag of bhog and placed the mala around my neck. Then he put garlands on everyone who had come with me. Receiving such grace filled us with immense joy and peace.

With the divine darshan of the Lord, our pilgrimage was now complete. The love and bliss that the Lord was showering upon us were beyond measure! Everyone was immersed in a unique peace and joy. It may seem easy to write these words, but describing that exact moment is truly difficult.

Somehow, the night passed. Out of excitement to have the Lord’s darshan, I couldn’t sleep the whole night. The temple was very crowded, but the Lord knew that we had walked such a long distance on foot to reach there. Out of His compassion, He had already kept a separate gate open just for us. We didn’t have to go through the crowd.

Early in the morning, everyone got ready, and we left for the temple. We were allowed to enter through a special gate. As always, the Lord’s grace remained the same. Every time I’ve gone to a temple, the Lord has never made me go through the crowd. Even here, something similar happened.

After walking for many days, we finally reached a place called Pandukeshwar!
In the evening, we went to visit a temple there. The temple’s name was *“Yog Dhyan Badri.”*
Inside the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, there were many Shaligrams kept.
Looking at them, I felt, “How wonderful it would be if I could have one of these!”
The thought made me smile, but then I said to myself, “Ah, Lord, you’re reminding me again! This time I won’t forget. Once I reach Badrinath, the very first thing I’ll do is get a Shaligram!”
