*“Kailash”*
After understanding the importance and greatness of this beautiful lake during the Kailash Yatra, now I will tell you about the vast lake on the other side, known as Rakshas Tal!
So let us now read about it!
### *“Rakshas Tal”*
The significance of Rakshas Tal is mainly connected with ancient legends. It is believed to be the place where Ravana performed his intense penance, which is why it is considered a symbol of negativity, unrighteousness, and imbalance—while the nearby Manasarovar Lake is a symbol of purity. Due to its salty and poisonous water, it is regarded as inauspicious, and taking a dip in it is prohibited.
But the truth is also this: meditating here is believed to help overcome fear and bad habits, encouraging deep self-reflection.
