But as soon as I moved forward, near the staircase leading out of that hall, I saw a Guru descending. He looked at me, I looked at him — and we both smiled, as if we had known each other for years.

He quickly walked toward me, accompanied by his disciples. Though it was our first meeting, it felt as if we were meeting after lifetimes. As we came closer, he began to speak beautifully about what a Guru is, and the importance of a Guru in one’s life.

The tears I had held back all the way from Haridwar to Rishikesh began to flow. His words touched my soul. He turned to his disciples and said, “Look, this is my friend. We are spiritual friends — he takes the name of Shiva, I take the name of Krishna, but our destination is the same.”

After leaving Guruji’s ashram, everyone’s faces were downcast.
Because his behavior and ego-filled attitude had spread a negative energy among everyone.
I was left speechless — for I had never before seen a Guru in such a manner!

The evening after the Krishna Katha, I was sitting there again. That day, during the Katha, all the devotees were playing Holi with flowers — the atmosphere was truly divine. I sat quietly, soaking in the bliss of the bhajans. It felt as if the Lord Himself was there, joyfully playing Holi among us.

But within me, a silent battle was going on. Every time I closed my eyes, the divine face of God appeared before me — and instantly I would open them again, wondering, “Why do You keep appearing in my eyes again and again?”
The feeling was just like that of a child upset with his mother, while the mother lovingly keeps trying to comfort him.

This is a very beautiful and faith-filled story.
I know that as you listen to it, your heart will overflow with joy!

This year, I undertook a walking pilgrimage to *Badrinath* with my children.
Our journey was *200 kilometers on foot!*

Every year, I have been blessed with the fortune of such pilgrimages —
be it the trek from *Rishikesh to Kedarnath*,
or from *Mussoorie to Gaumukh*,
or the *walk from Chopta to Badrinath* —
each of these journeys has been an opportunity to connect deeply with my inner self.

What is the most important thing in our life? Whom should we prioritize first and foremost?

Discipline is extremely important in our lives. Whether it is our spiritual journey or our daily lives, both demand discipline. But what exactly is discipline? Whenever we perform any task—whether in our day-to-day practical lives or our spiritual journey—we constantly strive to bring positive thinking into our lives.
